Got questions? We’ve gathered the answersyou might be looking for.
How do I know where to camp?
We recommend using the The Dyrt app – it’s super easy to use and shows a wide range of nearby campgrounds and dispersed sites. In addition, we’ll send you general recommendations, or even specific spots, based on your request.
How do you clean the kit between renters?
After every use, we thoroughly clean and reset the entire kit: all liners and towels are washed, cookware is cleaned with dish soap, the portable toilet is sanitized, the toiletry bag is fully restocked, and the sleeping pad valves are disinfected. We also perform a full general cleaning before the kit is ready for the next guest.
How will I know how to use the gear?
We’ve carefully selected gear that’s simple and intuitive to use. Most items include a QR tag linking to a short tutorial video, and you’ll also receive all video links by email when you book. You can always reach out to us with questions – but we recommend watching the videos in advance, since cell service isn’t always available at campsites.
What should I bring that isn’t included?
You’ll want to bring your own food and drinks, suitable clothing for the season, any personal medications, plus essentials like a hat and sunglasses.
What are the pick-up and return times?
Pick-up is available from 4:00 PM, and return should be completed by 6:00 PM.
What are the campfire rules?
In most areas, lighting a fire outside of a designated fire pit is both prohibited and dangerous. Always use approved fire rings or portable gas fire pits. Never leave a fire unattended, and make sure it’s fully extinguished before going to sleep. For your convenience, we provide a propane gas fire pit with a tank, which is permitted even during fire restrictions. For the latest fire restriction updates in our area: 👉 Utah Fire Info
What weather conditions is the kit suitable for?
The kit includes premium gear from top outdoor brands. Sleeping bags are rated down to 21°F / -6°C, and all equipment is wind- and rain-resistant, with two ponchos included. However, we don’t recommend camping in severe or stormy weather conditions.
